Have you heard of the idea of choosing 'One Word' for your new year? It's kind of a one word New Year's resolution. You can read more about it HERE. My One Word for 2011 was "Anticipate". I chose that word for several reasons...we were new to this area and I wanted to anticipate the good things and people that we would meet in our new home. I was anticipating God answering a deep heartfelt prayer request for one of my loved ones. And we were hoping to anticipate the news that we would be grandparents for the first time! |
Love this, momma! My one word of "focus" was a little iffy... my pregnancy made me more scatterbrained! :) but I love your word for this upcoming year! :) and I love you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. It's been a joy to walk through some of this with you, even from a distance. Have I told you my word for 2012? It is "balance."

Donna,
ReplyDeleteWe truley are kindred spirits. I have also chosen the word rest also. With foot surgery ahead I know reasting in the Lord will be my healing comfort. With traveling for Jon's job I need to rest in the Lord for strenghth and I know I will need to rest in the Lord as we release Hannah into His hands for her 10 month internship in LA behinning in August.
We will have to encourage one another in our rest.
Praying for your precious grandbabies. You will be a great Mimi!
